Dilwale (translation:The Big Hearted) is an upcoming 2015 Indian romantic action comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty, and produced by Gauri Khan and Shetty under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment and Rohit Shetty Productions respectively. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in lead roles.
The film is scheduled to release on 18 December 2015.

Development

In January 2015, filmmaker Shetty announced a project with Shah Rukh Khan in the lead. Shetty stated that he would start filming in March 2015. Shetty signed actress Kajol opposite Khan. He also signed actor Varun Dhawan who was reportedly playing Khan's brother while actress Kriti Sanon was signed opposite him.

Filming

Principal photography began on 20 March 2015 with Dhawan. The film was shot in Goa, Bulgaria, Iceland and Hyderabad. The filming wrapped up on 8 November 2015.

Soundtrack

The music for Dilwale is composed by Pritam while lyrics are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.The record label, Sony Music India has acquired the music rights of the film.As per sources, the music album of the film has 7 songs. The film includes a romantic song between Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, titled "Rang De Tu Mohe Gerua" which was recently shot in Iceland. It will also have a peppy, dance track featuring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon and is titled "Manma Emotion Jaage".The third song from the film is "Janam Janam".

The film is scheduled to release on 18 December 2015.
